“This is an archived Complex Design Studio portfolio case study documenting our previous work for Bank Syariah Mandiri. This page is not an official banking portal, does not provide banking or financial services, and never requests account credentials or offers application downloads.” Once again, Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) entrusted us to collaborate with their newly established unit at the time, the BSM Pawning Division. This division was exclusively dedicated to facilitating a comprehensive suite of gold-related services, encompassing buying and selling, pawning, installment plans, and investments. We were commissioned to design the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) concepts for their mobile application across both Android and iOS platforms. We take immense pride in winning this project, distinguishing ourselves among a highly competitive pool of participating agencies. The Complex Design team presented a variety of engaging and elegant design concepts. A key highlight of our approach was the implementation of a carousel menu on the landing page, enabling seamless vertical scrolling that significantly elevates the visual experience for visitors. We meticulously analyzed user preferences and needs, incorporating modern color palettes and sophisticated animations. This strategic approach was designed to deliver an intuitive and highly comfortable navigation experience for all users, particularly BSM's esteemed clientele.
